How do they work?
Epoxies are mixed in ratios between 2:1 and 4:1 resin to hardener. The reaction between the liquid components is known as curing. After this process, they gain toughness, strong adhesive properties and chemical resistance. Curing time varies depending on type of resin and temperature applied. Many of them will cure at room temperature.
They have the advantage of a long working time. Liquid state persists between 15 and 100 minutes before solidification. This allows users to shape and form the epoxy as desired before curing.
