Loctite EA 3423 Epoxy Adhesive

Loctite EA 3423 is a 2-part structural bonding epoxy adhesive engineered for demanding industrial and commercial applications. This high viscosity adhesive delivers outstanding performance across a diverse range of substrates, including metals, ceramics, wood, and rigid plastics. Loctite EA 3423 features a unique thixotropic formulation that prevents sagging on vertical surfaces whilst maintaining excellent gap-filling properties up to 3mm.

This high viscosity adhesive system cures reliably at room temperature following precise mixing of its two components. Loctite EA 3423 achieves high strength within 12 hours, though accelerated curing is possible with elevated temperatures when required. Its advanced formulation provides exceptionally strong, durable joints and superior chemical resistance. Once cured, this epoxy adhesive can be sanded to achieve a smooth, professional finish.

How to use Loctite EA 3423 Epoxy Adhesive:

1. Clean surfaces before applying the product.
2. Apply Loctite EA 3423 using a dual cartridge dispenser. Alternatively, hand mix resin and hardener by weight or volume.
3. Apply the adhesive as quick as possible after mixing. Apply to one of the bonding surfaces, or to both for maximum bonding strength.
4. Keep the assembled parts from moving until the adhesive has fully cured.
5. Allow the joint to develop full strength before subjecting to any service loads.

Storage

Store Loctite EA 3423 Epoxy Adhesive in the unopened container in a dry location. Optimal Storage: 8°C to 21°C. Storage below 8°C or greater than 28°C can adversely affect product properties.
