Loctite PC 7202 is a 2-part epoxy marine chocking compound, designed for the installation of main motors and various equipment. This high-performance compound stands out for its exceptional compressive strength, providing steadfast support under maximum loads. Loctite PC 7202 is ideal for a range of installations, including main motors, drive motors, winches, hoists, and deck-mounted equipment.

Loctite PC 7202 cures at room temperature in 24 hours, offering a practical solution for a variety of uses, such as flooring and grouting. Its robust composition allows it to function across a broad temperature range, from -30°C up to 121°C. Furthermore, Loctite PC 7202 provides vibration and chemical resistance, ensuring stability and longevity in demanding marine environments.

How to use Loctite PC 7202:

  1. Store Loctite PC 7202 kits at 15°C to 25°C for at least 24 hours before beginning the chock pour.
  2. Add the required amount of hardener (see reduction chart) to the contents of the resin can. Mix for 1 to 5 minutes at moderate speed, until mixture is homogenous.
  3. Let mixed product stand for 3-5 minutes to de-areate.
  4. Pour chocks from one corner to maximise the escape of air and assure good surface contact.
  5. Working time is 10-15 minutes at 25°C.
  6. Allow chocks to cure for a minimum of 24 hours at room temperature before torquing bolts.

Storage

Store Loctite PC 7202 in the unopened container in a dry location. Optimal storage: 8° C to 21° C. Storage below 8° C or greater than 28° C can adversely affect product properties.
