Technomelt PUR 270/7 by Henkel is a polyurethane-based hot melt adhesive system, designed for edgebanding, straightline and softforming applications. This clean-working hot melt adhesive combines high initial strength with a chemical cross-linking process requiring 2 to 5 days. When fully cured, Technomelt PUR 270/7 excels with its remarkable final bond strength and heat resistance exceeding 150°C, ensuring durability even in the face of challenging environments.
Technomelt PUR 270/7 provides tight joints with excellent water resistance, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring resilience against moisture. The adhesive's outstanding cold performance offers flexibility even in low temperatures. Designed for precision, Technomelt PUR 270/7 is suitable for both roller and nozzle application methods, providing versatility in the adhesive application process.

How to use Technomelt PUR 270/7:
- Prior to application, please read the Safety Data Sheet for information about precautionary measures and safety recommendations.
- Technomelt PUR 270/7 is suitable as an edging material for the following materials: veneer, melamine, polyester, HPL, PVC, ABS, PP, solid wood. Suitability depends on the individual characteristics of the edging material and how it is primed. In case of thick edges, pre-tests should be carried out.
- Recommended work temperature: 120-140° C. Recommended room temperature: 18-35°C. Recommended humidity: 30-60%.
Storage
Store Technomelt PUR 270/7 in the unopened container in a cool, dry location. The product has a shelf life of up to 12 months if properly stored.
