LOCTITE 2431 is a blue, liquid, thixotropic, dimethacrylate ester threadlocker which has medium strength. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces. Typical applications include pump or motor mounting bolts, engine rocker nuts or equipment housing screws.
