Loctite 4304 is a light-cured, cyanoacrylate-based instant adhesive, offering high plastic adhesion and very rapid fixturing.

Product Information

Loctite 4304 is a light-cured, cyanoacrylate-based instant adhesive by Henkel, offering high plastic adhesion and low intensity curing. Ideal for applications requiring very rapid fixturing, fillet cure or surface cure, Loctite 4304 can be used to bond a variety of materials beyond plastics, including metals, ceramics, and paper. Its UV light cure properties facilitate rapid curing of exposed surface areas, minimizing blooming and offering a solvent-free alternative to accelerators. Loctite 4304 can also cure in bond gaps using surface humidity, making it a reliable choice for diverse bonding needs.

Engineered with meticulous attention to quality, Loctite 4304 adheres to the ISO 10993 Test Protocol, an integral part of the stringent Quality Program set by Henkel. This adhesive has undergone rigorous testing and is qualified under Henkel's ISO 10993 Protocol, making it suitable for use in the assembly of disposable medical devices.

  • Low viscosity
  • Cures in 2 seconds, tack-free in under 5 seconds
  • UV light curing
  • Also cures in bond gaps using surface humidity
  • Bonds a range of materials including plastics, metal and ceramics

How to use Loctite 4304:

  1. Clean surfaces before applying the product.
  2. Apply Loctite 4304 to bond surfaces.
  3. Assemble components carefully. The short fixture time leaves little opportunity for adjustment.
  4. Please refer to datasheet for curing time and depth upon application of UV light and details on secondary curing mechanism (humidity).
  5. Hold together or clamp bonds until the adhesive has fixtured.
  6. Allow product to develop full strength before subjecting to any service loads. This will usually take about 24 hours.

Storage

Store Loctite 4304 in the unopened container in a dry location. Optimal Storage: 2° C to 8° C. Storage below 2° C or greater than 8° C can adversely affect product properties.

This product is light sensitive. Exposure to daylight, UV light and artificial lighting should be kept to a minimum during storage and handling.
