Araldite® 2021-1 is a two-component, room-temperature curing methacrylate adhesive designed for rapid assembly operations on a wide range of substrates. Its toughened formulation provides reliable bonding performance while supporting fast processing where short cure times are required.

This general-purpose adhesive offers excellent adhesion to plastics, composites and metals. When mixed, the adhesive exhibits thixotropic behaviour, allowing controlled application and helping the material remain in place during bonding.

Supplied in a 50 ml dual cartridge, Araldite® 2021-1 is well suited to precision application, small assemblies and controlled dispensing in production, maintenance and repair environments. The cured adhesive is suitable for service at temperatures up to 100 °C.

• Colour (visual): Off white (Part A), yellow/greenish (Part B), pale yellow (mixed).
• Specific gravity: 1.02 (Part A), 0.95 (Part B), approximately 1.0 (mixed).
• Viscosity at 25 °C: 15–50 Pa·s (Part A), 10–50 Pa·s (Part B), thixotropic (mixed).
• Pot life (100 g at 25 °C): Approximately 3 minutes.
• Time to peak exotherm (20 g): 7–15 minutes.
