Humiseal 1063 Stripper

Humiseal 1063 Stripper is a non-acidic, non-destructive solution designed to safely and efficiently remove conformal coating from electronic assemblies during rework, repair, and other critical manufacturing processes. Formulated to dissolve cured HumiSeal polyurethane coatings, Humiseal 1063 enables precise coating removal without compromising printed wiring board substrates or sensitive electronic components.

As a high-performance conformal coating remover, Humiseal Stripper 1063 acts rapidly on fully cured polyurethane coatings of 25-75 micron thickness, which typically dissolve within 60 minutes. Humiseal Stripper 1063 is effective at ambient temperature; however, warming the solution to 40-45°C can further improve stripping efficiency. After the remove conformal coating process, assemblies should be thoroughly cleaned and then baked at 60-65°C to eliminate residual moisture.

Humiseal 1063 is safe for use on a wide range of materials, including copper, gold, silver and nickel plating, as well as amine-cured epoxies, neoprene, phenolic resins, polyethylene, Teflon, Kynar and most vinyl-coated wires. This broad compatibility supports its role as a reliable conformal coating remover in electronics manufacturing and maintenance environments. Users should note that Humiseal 1063 will attack anhydride-cured epoxies and certain magnetic wire coatings.

Storage

Store Humiseal 1063 Stripper in the original unopened container. Shelf life of the product is 12 months from date of manufacturing if properly stored.
