TEROSON VR 500 Lubricant

TEROSON VR 500 Lubricant is a high-quality, organophilic bentonite-based grease formulated from super-refined mineral oils and engineered for reliable lubrication in demanding aerospace, aviation and industrial environments.

Unlike conventional metallic soap greases, TEROSON VR 500 contains no metallic soaps or fatty acids, making it resistant to soft alkalis and acids. Its chemically stable formulation ensures non-corrosive performance while maintaining structural integrity under extended service conditions.

The lubricant exhibits thixotropic flow behaviour, meaning it remains stable in place under static conditions but becomes more fluid under mechanical load or movement. Once the applied stress is removed, the grease returns to its gel-like consistency. This property prevents sudden extrusion from lubrication points under shock loads or high pressure, extending service intervals and reducing maintenance frequency.
