Loctite SI 5970 BM Silicone Gasket Sealant is a one-component alkoxy silicone gasket sealant formulated for flexible sealing applications requiring oil resistance and joint movement capability. This black silicone sealant cures at room temperature to form a durable elastomeric gasket.

Designed for gasketing applications, SI 5970 BM provides strong resistance to automotive engine oils and maintains reliable sealing performance under pressure and vibration. The thixotropic formulation helps reduce migration after application, supporting controlled placement during assembly.

The material is supplied ready to use with no mixing required and cures through ambient moisture exposure (RTV cure), making it suitable for maintenance and production environments where fast, simple application is preferred.
