DCP-CN7 – DCP Desoldering Tip, Standard Length, (∅ x L), 2.41 mm x 5.42 mm
For desoldering through-hole components on thermally demanding boards. Always use the correct geometry for the task. Desoldering cartridge changeover takes just a few seconds. The second digit denotes substrate material. C = Ceramic for high thermal demand applications.
DxP-Desolder Tips are the standard desoldering tip range for the Metcal desolder series MFR-1150, MFR-1350, MFR-1351 and MFR-UK5. The second letter in the part number designates the temperature series. The temperature series DFP are nominally 390 ˚C. Metcal recommends the DFP-series for most applications. The Temperature series DCP are nominally 450 ˚C and are recommended for high temperature and thermally demanding applications. Can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal “SmartHeat-Technology” automatically adjusts power levels during each soldering operation.
