No Mixing Required
Loctite 648 High Strength Retaining Compound is a single compound that doesn’t require mixing or the addition of a catalyst. The bonding adhesive can be applied directly from the container, minimising waste.
Loctite 648 Bond in as Little as Five Minutes
The Retaining Compound will form a strong enough bond for the joined components to be handled after just five minutes. Full curing requires about six hours.
The bond is formed through an anaerobic reaction, making it ideal for parts in an engine or other mechanical setup that can’t be easily exposed to the air to activate curing.
Great for Sprockets
