LOCTITE UR 7228 is a polyurethane-based adhesive which cures with humidity from the air or fine water spray to bond PVC and PU rigid foams to lacquered or epoxy-primer coated metal sheets. It provides very fast processing in panel bonding. It has an open time of 7 – 9 min and initial strength in 10 – 15 min. Curing time is 1 d. It is used for the manufacture of sandwich elements of porous substrates (e.g. wood) which contain humidity.
