Dowsil 744 White RTV Silicone Adhesive

Dowsil 744 White RTV Silicone Adhesive is a one-part, non-flowing, moisture-cure adhesive sealant designed for reliable performance in electronic and industrial assembly applications. This high-quality formulation offers excellent adhesion to metals, ceramics, glass, and a range of plastics and laminates, ensuring strong, durable bonds across different substrates.

Dowsil 744 Silicone Adhesive cures at room temperature in environments with 30-80% relative humidity, eliminating the need for curing ovens. The adhesive sealant becomes tack-free within approximately 30 minutes, allowing for efficient in-line processing. Optional heat below 60°C can be applied to accelerate curing and increase production throughput without compromising performance.

The cured material forms a resilient, flexible silicone elastomer that maintains its physical and electrical properties over a broad temperature range of -45°C to 200°C. This makes Dowsil 744 Silicone Adhesive ideal for applications requiring vibration damping, stress relief, and long-term stability. Common uses include bonding large electronic components, such as capacitors and batteries, to circuit boards in both automated and manual production systems.

Storage

Store Dowsil 744 White RTV Silicone Adhesive in a cool dry place, at approximately 25°C. Shelf life of the product is 12 months in the original unopened container.
