Loctite Si 5611 Alcoxy Based 2 part Silicone - 400ML Dual Cartridge

Loctite SI 5611 Silicone Sealant is a 2-part, low viscosity, self-levelling silicone designed for applications requiring fast curing. Its non-corrosive properties make it suitable for sensitive electronic components, ensuring no damage during the application process. Mixing Part A and Part B initiates the primary curing reaction. This is followed by a secondary cure with atmospheric moisture, forming a skin over the adhesive surface in 6 to 18 minutes. Full cure is achieved within 7 days.

Loctite SI 5611 is self-levelling, which makes it an excellent choice as a potting silicone to protect electronic components, enhancing the quality and span of their service life. Typical applications include solar and lighting systems, illuminated signage, switches and electronic connectors. Moreover, Loctite SI 5611 can withstand service temperatures of up to 200ÀöC, making it reliable even in challenging conditions.

How to use Loctite SI 5611 Silicone Sealant:

1. For best results, bonding surfaces should be clean and free from grease and other contaminants. We recommend a general purpose cleaner such as Loctite SF 7063.
2. When using a new cartridge, remove cartridge cap and dispense a small amount of adhesive, making sure both parts A&B are extruding. Attach nozzle and dispense another 25 to 50mm before application.
3. Apply Loctite SI 5611 as soon as possible after mixing.
4. Allow for full curing time before subjecting to heavy service loads.

Storage

Store Loctite SI 5611 in the unopened container in a dry location. Optimal storage: 8°C to 21°C. Storage below 8 °C or greater than 28 °C can adversely affect product properties.
