Loctite 577 Easy Assembly, Disassembly and Cleanup

Assembly and disassembly couldn't be easier than with Loctite 577.When assembling, to ensure a tight seal, clean all surfaces (external and internal) with LOCTITE cleaning solvent. For best results leave to dry before assembly or else you will risk damaging your product! If the material is an inactive metal spray on some of our SF 7471™ or SF 7649 products for increased durability during installation procedures. Beads should be placed around the top threads in a total of 360 degrees of the male fitting then forcefully push in place whilst applying compliant practices until it's firmly tightened using a wrench as per required size/ torque specifications.Disassembly is easy using standard hand tools. Use localized heat to approximately 250 °C (480F) when hand tools won't work due to excessive engagement lengths or large diameters of more than 1 inch. Remove the parts while they are still hot. We've got you covered when it comes to clean up too. Unlike some products, Loctite 577 cleans up simply by soaking the product in Loctite solvent and using a wire brush to remove excess sealant. When you need to get the job done right the first time, use Loctite 577.
