Scotch Performance Masking Tape 233+ is a premium paper masking tape, designed to perfom with collision repair, marine and other paint repair applications.
Scotch Performance Masking Tape 233+ features a green crepe paper backing that is highly conformable and applies easily. This car painter's tape provides clean removal without slivering for up to three days of outdoor UV-exposure and longer for indoor exposure. Scotch Performance Masking Tape also has resistance to paint bleed-through and provides temperature resistance up to 120ºC for up to 30 minutes. A special backside treatment of the paper with a release coating allows for excellent control during unwinding to the very end of the 55 m roll. It supports a more accurate mask and helps to eliminate paint blow-by. Scotch Performance Masking Tape 233+ can be used with water or solvent based paint systems and is also suitable for masking areas for wet sanding operations.
